The Catalunya Convention Bureau (CCB) is a program of the Catalan Tourist Board with a real commitment to support, advise and provide useful tools to all professionals linked to meeting tourism, congresses, conventions and incentive trips. The collaboration between public administrations and the business sector makes a wide range of information and resources available to the organizers of congresses and events. This initiative seeks to consolidate Catalonia as a reference destination for MICE, simplifying its choice by professionals in this sector. The CCB also organizes presentations, business visits, familiarization trips and workshops with the aim of publicizing the destination's meeting offer and generating business relationships between Catalan companies and national and international event organizers. On the other hand, integrated in the Catalan stand, the CCB and its members attend fairs and specialist shows leading in this sector in Europe such as the IBTM World in Barcelona and the IMEX of Frankfurt. The CCB currently has the collaboration of more than 250 reference companies and entities specialized in the organization of congresses, conventions, meetings and incentive trips in Catalonia.
