Its thermal circuit includes a bithermal Scottish shower that combines the benefits of thermotherapy and cryotherapy and produces a relaxing effect.Day 2: Snowshoeing in a national park and white water descentsYour second day in the Pyrenees of Catalonia begins with a snowshoe excursion. The departure point is the Planes de Son and the journey takes about 3 hours until you reach the Pla de la Font refuge. This refuge is located at an altitude of 2,015 metres and provides a magnificent viewpoint for the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.During the tour, a guide from Outdoor Adventour will teach you how to interpret the tracks of typical Pyrenean wildlife in the snow. In this area there are mainly foxes and roe deer.In the afternoon, you'll be trying out new adventure sports. The waters of the Ràfting Llavorsí. Experience an adrenaline rush in a whitewater descent of this river, considered one of the best in Europe for practising whitewater sports.In its 60 km of navigable waters, it offers up to 4 different sections of descents. Perfectly equipped, you will go down the river in an eight-man raft. A monitor will accompany you and give you instructions on how to steer the raft. The best time to enjoy rafting to the fullest is when the ice melts, from May to June, when the flow of the river increases.Day 3: The Pyrenees of Catalonia on horsebackFrom the town of Llavorsí following the course of the Noguera Pallaresa you reach Sort. This town is an important centre for the practice of adventure sports. Here you will stay for one night at the 3-star Hotel Pessets. This accommodation stands out for its high mountain cuisine. Homemade rice and game meat, paired with wines from the DO Costers del Segre.Once settled in the hotel, the recommendation for the day is a horseriding route organised by the hipica Peufort of Sort. Before starting the excursion, the guides will give you a short theoretical-practical explanation.On the backs of horses of the Spanish-Arab breed we propose a route through the Siarb valley. This passes through Llagunes, where the medieval site of Santes Creus is located, dated to 1500 BC. Another route option is to go through the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the largest in Catalonia, at more than 1,700 metres above sea level.Day 4: Rafting and excursion through the Aigüestortes National Park On the last day of the route, Assua Viatges offers you a combined afternoon excursion: rafting through the Noguera Pallaresa and an excursion on foot or with snowshoes through the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.With a wetsuit on, try the Llavorsí-Sort section, the one with the most rapids on the Noguera Pallaresa, in a descent of 16 km.
