The Mas Miró Foundation is in Mont-roig del Camp, Miró’s summer family residence. The centre organises all kinds of visits and activities to explore the landscapes which inspired the artist and find out about his creative process. Come with your family and join historical reconstruction tours. The estate’s tenant farmer will be your guide and share with you anecdotes and stories about the artist who had a very special bond with this place.

You can also take part in a family workshop where you can put your creativity to the test and discover a new kind of family visit through a digital game. This game is included in the audio guide provided by the centre and works with your smartphone at no extra cost. During the tour you will learn who Joan Miró was and what he did through questions and also by collecting objects.

Mont-roig-Miami Turisme has a walking route, Joan Miró, inspired by Mont-roig, which takes in the places which were crucial to his artistic origins and the evolution of his output. The route includes the Mas Miró farmhouse, where the artist’s studio is preserved intact, and also Mare de Déu de la Roca chapel, perched on top of a large sandstone crag typical of this area.
