The most special space of all is the Centre de Fauna, which gives you a first-hand look into the wild fauna of the Pyrenees.Alt Pirineu Natural Park and The House of the Brown Bear of the PyreneesNatural sites such as Mollera and Bonabé are the gateways to this part of the territory that surrounds Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the largest in Catalonia. There is a wealth of options for family tourism, including mountains, forests, valleys, rivers, villages, small hermitages or shepherds’ pastures, which can be visited through the signposted routes.Les Valls d’Àneu EcomuseumA visit to Les Valls d’Àneu Ecomuseum is a good excuse to explore this corner of the Pyrenees. Unlike traditional museums, the Ecomuseum is not confined to one building, but spreads out over the territory in order to explain life in the small valleys of the area.Skiing in EspotEspot is the only ski resort located next to a national park, that of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici, and has views of mountains of over 3,000 metres high. The ski station also has an amusement park with sledging routes, you can have fun in the snow garden or go down a slide in a giant inflatable doughnut! In the summer, certified companies organise activities such as rafting, hiking, kayaking and horse-riding trails.
