On the Catalan coast there is a varied offer of family campsites to spend days near the sea. They all have entertainment monitors and offer sports and recreational activities. Here are 10 campsites to enjoy the sea and the outdoors. Sant Pere Pescador, campsites at the foot of the beach Sant Pere Pescador is a paradise for camping families. Its beach of 6.3 kilometers of sand and dunes, where the Fluvià river flows, is of great natural beauty. In addition, next to it are the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, a protected natural space where you can enjoy the observation of seabirds. In this coastal town there are seven campsites with direct access to the beach. The beach of Sant Pere Pescador is unique for the practice of water sports, as there are not many people and it has very changeable wind conditions, sometimes the northerly wind, other times easterly or south easterly… Campsites such as Aquarius, Amfora and Las Dunas have sailing and surfing schools, where families can learn sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, diving and snorkeling. At Camping Aquarius you can stay in bungalows of 90 square metres, fully equipped and with a terrace to enjoy family meals outdoors, surrounded by nature. This campsite has everything planned for families travelling with their pets. It offers special pitches, a walking area and a shower if you come with your pet. It also has a water park with a play area for children. The Camping La Ballena Alegre offers a wide variety of bungalows, from 48 to 77 square metres, some which are simpler and others which are very luxurious. There is also a thermal circuit area for parents to relax for a while, while the children get wet at the Splash park, the children's pool with water games, or the Adventure park, with a circuit of wooden bridges, walkways and trampolines. Salou, a themed campsite for the whole family The peculiarity of the Camping & Resort Sangulí of Salou is that it is organised into four zones: Mediterranean, Polynesia, Africa and the Caribbean. Depending on which option you choose, it will look like you're on safari or on a Caribbean beach. The five pools also follow a theme, there's everything: big slides, water games, wild animals, Greek ruins and even a castle. It is the house of Guli, the mascot. Santa Susanna, active days and quiet nights for everyone Surrounded by pine trees and with direct access to the beach is the Camping Bon Repòs from Santa Susanna.
