After the phylloxera disaster, which destroyed the vineyards, the industry evolved to produce a new drink: vermouth. The route organised by Reus Promoció lasts two hours and includes a vermouth tasting of Miró, Rofes and Cori, paired with tapas. During the tour you will visit the Old Rofes Vermouth Factory, the Miró vermouth production company and the Vermouth Museum. The latter is a modernist site that contains a collection of 1,800 bottles, 400 posters and 300 labels and objects related to this drink.Take advantage of your visit to Reus to discover its modernist buildings. Casa Navàs and the Pere Mata Institute, designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, are part of the Modernist Route. You can also do the Gaudí&Reus route here, which goes through the childhood spaces of Gaudí, who was born in this town. Includes a visit to the Gaudi Center, the only interpretation center about life and work of this architect.Day 2: Visit to the medieval Montblanc and go-kart racing in the VendrellThe second day you move to Montblanc to visit Montblanc Monumental, organised by the Cister Route. Here you will visit the tower of Pere III and a section of the pedestrian walkway that reaches the tower-portal of Sant Jordi. The tour ends with a food and wine tasting of local products and a tasting of 2 wines from DO Conca de Barberà.In the afternoon, after a bit of culture, it's time for a bit of fun.
