Today's plan is a section of the long-distance trail GR11 , which follows the Pyrenees from the Cantabrian Sea to Cap de Creus, in the Mediterranean.On this hiking route you leave Setcases until you reach the Ulldeter refuge. This refuge, at an altitude of 2,220 metres, is very close to the source of the Ter river and the ski resort of Vallter2000.The first 3 km are on the road. Then, when you reach Pla de la Molina, an area where cows and horses usually graze, you follow the old path used by shepherds in the area and which runs parallel to the course of the Ter river. Once you've passed the Strait of Morens, a passage between mountains, you'll enter fully into the alpine landscape until you reach the refuge.
