Centre BTT Valls d'Àneu

Opened in 2010 and located in the most northerly part of Pallars Sobirà, the Valls d'Àneu Mountain Bike Centre offers eleven routes for different levels in order to discover the Pyrenean landscapes and villages.

The Valls d'Àneu Mountain Bike Centre is located in the region of Pallars Sobirà, in the heart of the Pyrenees. Specifically in Valls d’Àneu, located at the headwaters of the Noguera Pallaresa, in the most northern part of Pallars Sobirà, bordering to the north with the French El Ariège, to the west with the Valley of Arán and the Valley of Boí, to the east with the Vall de Cardós and to the south with Llavorsí.

Opened in October 2010, the mountain bike centre currently has eleven signposted routes available covering a total of 211 km. These are routes for different levels which enable enjoying the Pyrenean landscape with its lush valleys, sculpted by the erosion of rivers and ravines, going along tracks, conifer forests, alpine pastures and discovering high mountain villages.

The pick-up point is the Esterri d’Àneu Tourist Information Office which is located in the village's main street. This area provides the visitor with a vast range of activities, adventure and winter sports such as rafting, skiing, canyoning, horse riding, in addition to excursions through the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park and through the El Alto Pirineo Nature Park, Romanesque routes through the valleys and their villages which still exude the charm of ancient, farming, livestock rearing, wood, stone and slab forging tradition, as well as savouring the original local gastronomy.
