Year of Cultural Tourism 2018 and 2019

2018 and 2019are the Year of Cultural Tourism in Catalonia, where an endless number of proposals for cultural experiences throughout the territory are suggested.

2018 and 2019 has been declared the European Year of Cultural Heritage with the objective of raising awareness of European history and values, thus strengthening a sense of European identity.

This is an invitation to discover and experience the cultural treasures hidden in every nook and cranny of Catalonia. Come and discover the cultural heritage, traditions, gastronomy, wines, and by doing so fall in love with our culture.

Day of Sant Jordi
The Festival of Sant Jordi, celebrated every 23 April all over Catalonia, is one of the festivities that we most identify with. Throughout the day, friends and lovers exchange books and roses.

Local Festival
A new edition of the Local Festival of Garcia in honour of the Assumption of the Virgin, with a multitude of events for all audiences. Canoe rides, trips along the river, correfocs (fireworks parades), races and concerts are part of the programme.
