Visit to the romanesque churches declared World Heritage by the UNESCO.
In the Vall de Boí we found one of the best romanesque art ensembles of Europe. It is composed by the churches: Sant Climent and Santa Maria de Taüll, Sant Joan de Boí, Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall, Sant Feliu de Barruera, the Natividad and Sant Quirc de Durro, Santa Maria de Cardet and Assumpció de Cóll. The exceptional values of Vall de Boí Romanesque art have been recognized by UNESCO with its inscription on the World Heritage List.
In all churches and in the Centre del Romànic the visitors will find personnel of receipt and information that give all the necessary indications for the visit. In the churches there are display panels in catalan, spanish and english and brochures in french.
The Centre del Romànic de la Vall de Boí is an interpretative place that explain the Romanesque art of the valley. Audiovisuals and different interactive elements explain to the visitor the historical and artistic moment when the churches were built. The audio-visuals and texts of the center are en catalan, spanish, english and french.
We offer three types of tickets to visit the churches of the Vall de Boi (see schedule depending on the time of year): combined Ticket 3 churches, combined ticket 3 churches + Centre del Romànic, and combined ticket 5 churches + Centre del Romànic.
Accessibility: The Centre del Romànic is wheelchair accessible, also Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall church and Sant Feliu de Barruera church. At Sant Climent de Taüll church it will be necessary to warn to the personnel of the church in order to install the entrance ramp prepared for this occasions. At Sant Joan de Boí church it will be necessary to warn to the personnel of the church in order to open the lateral door. At la Nativitat de Durro church the stairs of access to the church prevent from acceding with wheelchairs.
