The stage starts in the village of Guialmons where you take the trail downhill towards Pontils, past the Nou de Prous mill and along the Biure gorge before reaching the village of Pontils, where you can visit the castle. From this village, take the trail to Vallespinosa on a constant climb up to the Vallespinosa plains. After crossing the TV-2015 road and the small village, take the trail with GR footpath markings on a gentle climb to Valls mountain pass. From here, the descent begins to Cabra del Camp, surrounded most of the way by cropland.
In the village, cross the TP-3211 road and then the AP-2 road and start a short 2-kilometre descent before starting the real descent to the village of Prenafeta and shortly afterwards Montblanc, surrounded by cropland.
After Montblanc, the route begins a long, constant uphill climb, first along trails and surrounded by cropland, and gradually along footpaths and mountain trails through the typical thick forests of the Mediterranean.
At kilometre 56 of the stage, you can turn left to visit the natural vantage point of La Mola dels Quatre Termes and enjoy its great views. After this point, at around kilometre 58, you will come to a short, rather technical and complicated section of little over one kilometre, some of which might have to be covered on foot. Shortly after this point you will come to the La Font del Diable mountain pass and the El Pagès plains, from where you begin your descent through forests to the village of Prades, having passed a large water deposit set among fields of crops.
