Searching for the great Catalan geniuses

Book
Catalonia will always have a place in the heart of a number of great geniuses. This region was a birthplace or a place of refuge for them. To understand and discover how their work and life stories are still linked to Catalonia, the region offers routes that show you the places that inspired them, where they grew up, where they lived, and where they built their creative refuges.

Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso, from Malaga, are three of the universal geniuses who will forever be linked to the Catalan landscape through their work. Follow their footsteps from Barcelona, where Miró was born and Picasso trained, to the hidden corners of the province of Tarragona where both artists created some of their most memorable works. The route ends on the Costa Brava, where Dalí spent his days and left an indelible mark.

Much more than Dalí, Miró and Picasso in Catalonia.
The route also aims to immerse you in the world of other cultural celebrities, such as the architects Antoni Gaudí, Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the musician Pau Casals, the writers Josep Pla and Mercè Rodoreda, to name but a few.

They all have a place for Catalonia in their heart, will you find a place for it in yours?
