THEMATIC ROUTES

For families

Book
Children can't sit still. They like to explore and discover new things; that's why family routes in Catalonia are a perfect fit.

Nature is a gold mine for children's restless personalities . Maybe it's because of the combination of fun and learning, so why not try out some of the itineraries that run through the eighteen natural parks in Catalonia. Depending on what you like, some parks may be better suited than others. For example, if your children like to watch birds out in the open air, the best option may be the Ebro Delta Natural Park or the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park. To stroll among forests and streams, the Catalan Pyrenees offers the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.

Cultural steps
Children love being told stories. There is no doubt that it is stimulating to learn about history with the whole family, with a backpack over your shoulder on a walk, rather than sitting with a book. There are tours that show what life was like in Catalonia's  industrial past, with ancient legends and historical episodes.

Make the most of our family routes and come and discover Catalonia with your children.
