The Roca Cherry Fair

Arenys de Munt celebrates its Roca Cherry Fair on Saint John’s Day, based on a high quality product that defines the identity of the town. In addition to the sale of this fruit, parades, contests and a craft fair are organised.

The Roca Cherry Fair takes place on St. John's Day. This is an exclusive and high quality product that is typically grown throughout Arenys de Munt. It is a fruit with a dense flesh and a colour between pale yellow and red, with a very intense flavour, sweet and acidic at the same time, which was introduced into the municipality in the late nineteenth century from L'Empordà by a family of miners whose surname was Roca.

Visitors will be able to purchase it directly from the producers themselves. You can also taste dishes produced with this fruit and enjoy a high-class gastronomic-festive day. There is also a craft fair, among other activities such as children's workshops, competitions and parades.
