Terrassa Modernist Fair

A fair that lets you relive the Terrassa of one hundred years ago. The setting, the performances, the exhibitions and the activities will transport you to that historical period.

A Fair recreating life in the city 100 years ago, its customs, how people dressed, etc., when Terrassa, like other cities in Catalonia, enjoyed particularly prosperous times with textiles as the great economic engine and modernism as the avant-garde movement. A series of activities taking place in the historic city centre: modernist market, decorated streets, ancient craft and craft product workshops, an open day in the city's museums, dramatised tours, street trade, children's activities, parades, "sardanes" (traditional Catalan dances), concerts, etc. It has been declared by the Regional Government of Catalonia as a "Local Festival of Tourist Interest in Catalonia".
