A beach more than two kilometres long with peaceful waters and all kinds of services. It is flanked by a seafront and very nearby there is a museum dedicated to the musician Pau Casals.
Sant Salvador is one of the most appreciated nooks in El Vendrell, both by its locals and by the people who visit this town throughout the year. It still preserves that seaman atmosphere of the years prior to the tourist "boom", which gradually changed its physiognomy.
Its beach, nearly three kilometres of golden sand and calm waters, stretches to the south of that of Les Madrigueres. It has showers, lifeguard and first aid, and deckchair, sunshade and pedalo rental service. In addition, it has a pedestrian promenade, which makes it difficult to park the car right next to the beach.
The Vil·la Casals museum is very near. It is located in the summer residence that the musician Pau Casals, born in El Vendrell, built in Sant Salvador. Opposite the museum we find the Auditori Pau Casals, where, during the months of July and August, the International Music Festival that bears his name takes place.
