Roda de Berà is well-known everywhere thanks to its Roman arch. In addition to the arch, however, the municipality offers visitors extraordinary beaches and unexpected surprises, such as the Roc de Sant Gaietà, the Berà hermitage or La Roca Foradada civic centre, that houses a permanent exhibition of Dalí sculptures, the Writer's Museum and the Protagonistas Luis del Olmo Radio Museum.
The town was mainly dedicated exclusively to agriculture until the second half of the 20th century, when it became an important tourist spot of the Costa Daurada.
