One of the restaurants of the Hotel Princesa Sofía is the IQ, a different and unique place that offers the freshest and healthiest food; a perfect option for customers of Aqua Diagonal and for those seeking a balanced menu and who want to know what they are eating.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the big city, Aqua Diagonal Wellness Centre offers two thousand square metres for chilling out and relaxing. The centre, part of the Princesa Sofía hotel, has a large pool, extensive gardens, hydrotherapy and health facilities, a gym, hairdressing service and a restaurant.

The swimming pool is twenty metres in length and is partly open air. When the weather is not hot, the outside part is protected by a translucent roof and it becomes a solarium which can be used all year round. The pool is temperature controlled and has water massage jets.

The thermal spa facilities consist of saunas, Turkish bath, Scottish shower, hydro massage bath and UVA polyphenols bath, which has a rejuvenating effect. There are thirteen booths with over forty different treatments, ranging from various massages such as Nordic and Oriental and wraps with Dead Sea mud or seaweed, to Aromatherapy and Ultrasound.

Available options include treatment packages, such as Delicia de Cítricos (Citrus Delight - exfoliation, wrap, massage and juice with orange or lemon derivatives), Arroz y Soja (Rice and Soya - a similar sequence of treatments with these products) or the Love package, for couples.

The programmes are longer than the packages, and are conceived to provide specific treatment rather than to be mentally and physically enjoyable. So, for example, there are treatments for detox, anti-stress and weight loss.

There are also a number of instructor-led sports and leisure activities, such as swimming, aquagym, spinning, body balance, muscle toning, Pilates, belly dancing, Sevillanas (Flamenco dancing), etc.
