The Fonda beach is located adjacent to some high cliffs covered with vegetation and pine trees. The dark gray of the cliffs on the left, contrasts with the reddish color of the rocks of the cape of Rubí, to the right, and with the deep blue and turquoise sea.
To access it, you must go down a long staircase. Tiene una longitud de 170 metros por una anchura media de unos treinta. It is composed of dark sand that gives it a very particular aspect. The entry slope into the sea is fairly pronounced. There are no services, except for a small beach bar that is usually open in summer. In the vicinity, there are a few scattered cottages, hidden among the thick vegetation.
The portion of coastline stretching from the beach until after the Begur Cape, to the left, is very appreciated by the divers, especially around the Black Isle and the Diable cave. Towards the right, there is a coastal footpath that leads to the small private port of Fornells.
