In the very centre of Vic, next to the city cathedral, is where this museum dedicated to medieval art is found. It has almost 30,000 works of painting, sculpture, gold work, ironwork, glass and ceramics through which a trip back in time can be taken through the history of Catalan liturgical art.
Located in an exemplary contemporary building in the historic centre of Vic, the Episcopal Museum of Vic features a magnificent medieval art collection. The Romanesque and Gothic exhibitions of paintings and sculpture stand out. There are also collections of gold and silver pieces, fabrics, ceramics and smithery, glass and leather objects.
