The unique high-quality sky conditions facilitate the astronomy research, training and dissemination, work carried out at Montsec Astronomy Park with activities including tailor-made Observations and Planetarium events.
The Montsec Astronomy Park (PAM) takes advantage of the location's unique quality of sky for observing the universe to carry out research, training and astronomy outreach activities.
The PAM includes the Centre for Observing the Universe (COU) and the Montsec Astronomical Observatory (OAdM). The COU is a large multi-function space which brings visitors closer to the world of science and enables them to discover the environment of Montsec. The OAdM focuses on research, scientific work and university-level education in astronomy. The central building houses a permanent exhibition about astronomy and the natural environment.
The PAM organises tailor-made Observations and Planetarium events for groups, where the activities are agreed with the customers.
