MónNatura Pirineus

Environmental education is the base of this project by MónNatura Pirineus, which is located at 1,530 metres above sea level, near the town of Son. The hostel has a centre devoted to the fauna of the area, an astronomical observatory and a library specialised in environmental topics.

A bio-climatic building located at 1,530 metres above sea level is home to the MónNatura Pirineus facilities, located a few kilometres from the town of Son, in Pallars Sobirà. The hostel hosts environmental education activities, and its facilities include a animal centre that allows guests to learn about the wildlife in the Pyrenees, an astronomical observatory, a library specialized in environmental topics and an auditorium with a 165 person capacity. The rooms can hold 3 or 4 people, all of which have a bathroom and a work area.

The Aigüestortes i el Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is close to the hostel, and the area also offers guests the opportunity to go hiking and on cultural visits.
