Protected natural area marking the changing landscape between the Penedès-Vallès basin and Camp de Tarragona. It is formed by low karstic mountains and fields in which dry farming is carried out.
Natural area located between the regions of Baix Penedès and Alt Camp, which marks the separation between the Vallès-Penedès depression and Camp de Tarragona. It is formed by a group of low, rounded karstic mountains, which surround plains in which farming is carried out, mainly of almond trees, carob trees, olive trees and vines.
In the area, which is surrounded by several residential areas, it is possible to go hiking, mountain biking, caving and hunting. When passing through, you can see several dry stone buildings. The most relevant monument is the Sant Antoni de Albinyana hermitage, built in the 18th century on the ruins of an old castle. It is at the top of the Quadrell mountain range and has excellent views out over the region of Baix Penedès.
