Day 1

Beach to beach
Fancy taking a selfie in the sea? How about a calm excursion discovering the region's coastline? Dofi Jet Boats will take you through the diverse beaches and you'll do them all in just one day.

To the waves we go!
If you like your waves, the Base Nàutica de Pineda de Mar has loads of activities for you to enjoy. Motor powered in the form of water skiing or speed boats, or go freestyle with some kayaking or paddle surfing. Have a go at dinghy racing on catamarans, pedalos or windsurfing, and get soaked in one of the aqua scavenger hunts! Also, get into shape in one of the exercise sessions available on the beach.

Walk alongside the sea
The best way to discover a seaside town is, without a doubt, taking to its coastal path. These are small tracks from the 19th century that were used to monitor coastal settlements and control contraband. The largest portion of the journey between Calella and Sant Pol de Mar twists and turns its way along the coastline, passing beaches, rocky coves, and views of charming "indiano" and fisherman houses. Highly recommended for all the family.

Cycle tourism by road
Lloret, Blanes, Santa Susanna and Calella have road-based cycling tourism routes, with perfect accommodation for cyclists. If you're a mountain biking fan, enjoy a circuit that will take you from the Montseny mountain to the coast, through Parc Natural del Montnegre-Corredor.

Day 2

Go swimming amongst the fish
Ever dreamt of deep sea diving? In Arenys de Mar they'll make that dream come true. Marenostrum Buceo and Dive and More are recreational diving centres with trained professionals who will start you off with some fun and safe diving. Amongst other activities, they offer first-time 'try-dives' and diving classes, as well as boat trips in which you can go and have a go at some offshore diving.

Do you know the story of the sea?
Let's all uncover the story of the Catalan coast from the Neolithic period, are you in? The Museu Municipal de Nàutica del Masnou offers guided tours for groups, as well as activities for the little ones, such as the Navegarium. They'll also take you to the Mine Museum where you'll travel through a stretch of the 27 km underground tunnel system that was used to supply water to the local town.
