Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies) aims to promote artistic creativity and production, distribution and spreading of cultural content, through the development of cultural companies, and encouragement of cultural consumption and expansion of markets for Catalan culture.

Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals (Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies), until 2011 Institut Català de les Indústries Culturals (Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries), is a body attached to the Department of Culture of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia created in 2000 to promote artistic creativity and production, distribution and spreading of cultural content, through the development of cultural companies, and encouragement of cultural consumption and expansion of markets for Catalan culture.

Its main lines of action are granting assistance and subsidies to Catalan companies for the production, promotion, distribution, spread and recovery and enhancement of equipment; providing business development services; collaboration with other bodies and organisations in promoting cultural dissemination and consumption and supporting the promotion of professional projects abroad through participation in international fairs and events and providing companies access to international markets.
