105.50 Km (67 m) Cross Plaça de la Indepèndencia and take Carrer Santa Clara until the very end. Here it is interesting to walk over the bridge along Carrer Nou to admire the façades of the houses over the Onyar river. On the other side of the bridge, turn right and, once again, pass the river before turning left. Follow Carrer General Mendoza along the cycle lane, continue along Carrer Rutlla and turn left at the first corner. Then take Carrer Font del Rei on your right alongside the Ontar river until you reach the Emili Grahit roundabout, which you go around to the left. Take Carrer Emili Grahit and do not leave it until you come to the start of the path that was the old railway line to Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
107.50 Km (74 m) The greenway from Girona to Sant Feliu is called the Ruta del Suro (Cork Route), as cork was transported to the port of Sant Feliu de Guíxols along this railway line. It is signposted with the same green banner that was seen on the Ruta del Ferro and on the Carrilet from Olot to Girona.

From now on, and throughout the Baix Empordà district, the paths are signposted with a burgundy coloured panel. There is a banner at the crossroads to indicate the directions of the different otwns, and a small square panel or sticker attached to urban furniture (lamp posts, traffic lights, waste bins, etc.), with the symbol of a bicycle, that should be followed.
145.20 Km (3 m) Platja d’Aro. Before you reach the mouth of the Ridaura river, turn left onto Avinguda Onze de Setembre, where there is a cycle lane. Continue along this street until Carrer de Pineda de Mar, where you turn right until you come to the Passeig Marítim promenade.
