The town of Santa Susanna is in the northern part of the Maresme coast, close to the city of Barcelona and surrounded by blue seas and green mountains.
The water-based activities carried out at the Santa Susanna nautical centre take place on the district’s large beach, which is more than 2 km long. At the centre, you can take part in different activities, such as water skiing, banana boats, parasailing, snorkelling, diving, kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, jetskis, kayaking and dinghy sailing. The majority of these activities take place on the section of the beach known as Las Dunas, where the nautical centre has a base. Sailing boats with a skipper can also be hired for trips along this part of the Catalan coast.
The centre also includes the Montnegre i el Corredor Park, where mountain bike, quad and walking trails are organised. In terms of accommodation, there is a wide range of three and four star hotels, or you could choose a campsite or country hotel.
A nautical centre brings together different tourist establishments and companies in a region, particularly those relating to nautical activities. The aim of these centres is to assist users when organising activity-based holidays, whether for a weekend break or for a whole month. The centre suggests possible accommodation and activity options in order to make the most of the time available.
