El Castell de Ciutat

The Wellness area of the Castell de Ciutat includes an indoor pool, an open air pool, a fitness room, outdoor Jacuzzi, steam bath, beauty parlour, pedilavium, four beauty cabins, colour therapy room and area for relaxation.

Located at the foot of a 16th-century castle near la Seu and Andorra is the El Castell de Ciutat hotel and luxury spa, a two-storey building with stone walls and slate roofs, blending perfectly into the scenery. Inside, the wood provides the atmosphere and the decoration is rustic.

In the spa there is a heated pool, solarium, sauna, Hamman, colour therapy room, pedilavium, ice bath and hot marbles. The treatments are mainly manual, and especially their own specialities, such as the herb wrap of the Pyrenees with clay, hay and lavender, Pyrenean whirlpool with lavender and rosemary oil, and the most complete, the El Castell massage, lasting eighty minutes and applied to body, face and cranial, with the essence oil that the customer chooses.

The hotel has a fitness room with cardiovascular and body-building apparatuses, and four multipurpose rooms. The instructors direct sessions of aqua gym, stretching, jogging and hiking, and personalised programmes.

In good weather, the outdoor pool is opened with its curtain of water, and a terrace where there are two Jacuzzis.

The resort has two restaurants offering Mediterranean cuisine, and a cellar with more than 700 designations of origin.
