The Club Golf d’Aro golf school is equipped with the most advanced technology to guarantee maximum quality in training. The courses are adapted to the needs, standard, characteristics and objectives of each pupil.

The Club Golf d'Aro is one of the oldest in the Empordà district. It is in the Les Gavarres Natural Park, a few minutes from Castell-Platja d'Aro, 90 km away from Barcelona and 35 km from Girona.

It is an 18-hole course (par 72) and was opened in 1990. It was designed by Ramon Espinosa at an altitude of 300 metres in an area of pines, olives and beech trees with some gentle slopes; it has two lakes. In 1992, the European Society of Golf Courses Architects considered it the best course in Europe. In 2017 it received an environmental certification from "The Golf Environment Organization."It has a shop, golf school, driving range and clubhouse, a restored 19th-century country house. In this place we find the restaurant, which has a good selection of wines. It also has a large fleet of electric vehicles and an equipment rental service suitable for all levels.

It's currently in 52nd position in the ranking of "Top 100 Golf Courses."
