Clos Pons

Since 1945, the Pons family has continuously been engaged in growing olives and producing olive oil, to the point that Grup Pons became a company of reference in the sector. Inheritors of this tradition, in 2005 the family set out to recover the Les Garrigues vineyards, creating Clos Pons Winery, located between the towns of l'Albagés and Pobla de Cérvoles, and producing DO Costers de Segre wines.

Like the typical buildings in the region, the cellar building is made of stone and wood to ensure maximum integration with the landscape.

The firm's Alges, Sisquella, Roc Nu, 809 and Roc de Foc wines, obtained primarily from the varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha, Syrah, Muscat of Alexandria, Cabernet Sauvignon and Macabeo, embody the characteristics of the soil and the region's arid continental climate.

Wine tourist visits include a tour of the vineyards, attending the grape harvest (depending on the season) and sampling the firm's wines.
