Aqua Hotel Onabrava & Spa

The Hotel Onabrava Wellness & Spa offers a new concept of well-being, health and beauty over four atmospheres: spa zone, gymnasium with state-of-the-art machinery, heated swimming pool with salt water and beauty treatments and massages. Aqua gym classes are given in the outdoor pool in the summer.

The Onabrava hotel, on the seafront promenade in Santa Susanna, only a few metres from the beach, opened in 2001. The hotel has all kinds of health and sports facilities, available for customers and for anyone who wants to come and use them.

The open air swimming pool, for adults, has underwater jets for delivering hydromassage. There is another pool next to it for children. Both are surrounded by a terrace for sunbathing or, if you prefer, for having a drink at the bar.

The majority of the Spa facilities, however, are inside the building, on the first floor of the basement. Here there is a heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi included, another two separate Jacuzzis, one cold and one hot, a sauna, steam bath, a relaxation area and a massage and beauty treatment room. The rooms on the upper floor have their own Jacuzzis and terraces with sea views.

The hotel also has a gym with a weights room and a studio for aerobics classes. The sports facilities are completed by a table tennis and billiards room.

In addition to the usual treatments, the professional Spa staff specialise in chocotherapy. They use chocolate and cocoa as exfoliants, as body wraps and for massages.

Clients particularly like the facial treatments with marine gold cream, a golden coloured seaweed containing moisturising and revitalising substances that give skin a glowing appearance.

In the Spa you can buy tickets for one day, one or two weeks, or even for a whole month.
