Located in the 18th-century colonial home of Cal Manganyes
in Calafell, the hotel is completely renovated and features a rustic décor within a charming ensemble.
The Antiga hotel is located in Calafell's historic centre, a few metres from the medieval castle of the Santa Creu, and occupies a renovated former colonial home. Cal Manganyes was built in the late 18th century by captain Ignasi Solé from Calafell, who repeatedly crossed the Atlantic Ocean aboard his brig. It is a quiet area, where you can enjoy peace and rest calmly. Moreover, you can also enjoy the beach and the entertainment surrounding it, just a kilometre away.
The property has a swimming pool, which is surrounded by ancient palm trees. Its restaurant serves traditional Catalan and fisherman's cuisine. The whole ensemble is decorated in a rustic style, with images of the land and its traditions, including elements like fishing, wine and olives, which define the character of the Baix Penedès.
