The Aiguablava Cove is a perfect summary of all the virtues of the Costa Brava and, in particular, of the coast of Begur The crystal clear waters, the beautiful natural surroundings and facilities make it an excellent beach.
It is 75 metres long and consists of fine golden sand. The entry slope into the sea is hardly pronounced. It has showers, monitoring service, and access ramps for the disabled, parking, snack bar and several restaurants.
On a rocky ledge on the right side of the cove, completely surrounded by pine trees, stands the Parador Nacional de Aiguablava. To the left the coast is a constant succession of small coves and cliffs, as well as Port d´Esclanyà, the tip of Pi, the En Malaret Beach, the Port de Ses Orats and the Rubí Cape, after which lies the Fonda beach.
