La Vall d'en Bas, all year round
In each of the eight towns that make up La Vall d'en Bas, you can do various activities suitable for the whole family, at any time of year. The main accommodation facilities in La Vall d'en Bas are rural houses, although there is also a municipal hostel and a four star hotel. You will feel at home at any of these establishments.
We suggest a visit to Els Hostalets, a picturebook town, or to enjoy the views from the Plaza de El Mallol. Or take a walk through the old towns of Sant Esteve d'en Bas, Joanetes or Sant Privat. On a clear day, the views from Falgars are unbeatable and allow you to see the transformation that the landscape has undergone due to the volcanoes.
It is also possible to visit farms, take a trip on the train or see waterfalls after the rain.
If you prefer to take in all of the natural heritage of the area, you cannot miss the Can Trona Centre de Cultura i Natura (Centre of Culture and Nature), a space which, as well as housing a tourism office, also has one permanent and three temporary exhibition.
All of the restaurants in La Vall d'en Bas work with local ingredients, which will certainly make you come back for more.
You cannot miss out on the Feria de San Nicolás (December) or the Feria de la Guadaña (June), where you will be able to enjoy local products.
