The Tuixent-Lavansa cross-country skiing resort is located on the Port del Comte massif in the Alt Urgell region. It is set in beautiful, natural surroundings with spectacular views of Pedraforca mountain and the Sierra del Verd and Sierra del Cadí mountain ranges. All this while enjoying the feeling of the snow under your skis and the wind on your face.
Its altitude (between 1,830 and 2,150 metres) and geographic orientation ensure the best conditions for preserving the snow, a factor that makes it possible to extend the ski season to the maximum.
The runs at Tuixent-Lavansa travel through the area between Pla de l’Arp and Prat Llong, covering over 32 kilometres. There are routes for skiers of all skill levels, from beginners to the more advanced. The longest trail covers a distance of thirteen kilometres. The resort also has marked snowshoeing circuits of varying difficulties and distances.
A ski school, cafeteria, picnic area and first aid service are amongst the amenities offered at Tuixent-Lavansa. In addition, the resort’s natural setting is conducive to other winter sports activities, such as mountain skiing and telemark skiing.
