Located on the seafront, with stunning views over the bay of Palamósand just minutes from the town centre, the century-old Hotel Trias reopened in 2005 after a major refurbishment. Personalities such as Truman Capote and Ava Gardner stayed at the hotel, earning it the nickname "the Hotel of the Stars". The hotel is within easy reach of the main tourist spots of Palamós, including the Museu de la Pesca and the fish market, and the best beaches on the Costa Brava, such as the Fosca and Cala Castell.
It offers 84 fully equipped rooms, some of them with a balcony or terrace overlooking the sea. The Trias is also noted for its restaurant, which serves traditional Mediterranean cuisine and offers a daily set menu and an extensive à la carte menu. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's beach club, which has been decorated in a typical maritime style, and activities organised by the hotel: trips on lateen sail boats, wine tours, cooking workshops and excursions on foot or by bicycle.
