The Tarrés hostel, founded in 1975, has a restaurant and bar service, 12 rooms with different equipment and accessories, elevator, satellite TV, heating and WiFi. All rooms have a private bathroom and some rooms have a jacuzzi.
The inn is famous for its restaurant whose specialities include paella, vegetable pie with roasted pepper sauce, leek pie with mushroom sauce, roasted 'Tarrés' potatoes and home-cooked roasts. The menu is available weekdays and holidays.
The hostel is in Anglès, in the Selva region, about 15 kilometres from Girona and near the beaches of the Costa Brava. The Anglès surrounds are ideal for hikers, who can enjoy the Via Verda or the Susqueda Reservoir, the climb to the Santa Bárbara Hermitage, the Sant Julià de Llor Hermitage, the 12th century Roman bridge and the Nostra Senyora del Coll Sanctuary.
