Founded in 1904, the Tall de Conill restaurant/hotel is an institution in Capelladesand the region of Anoia that is renowned for its restaurant, which has a long history in the restaurant business. With its commitment to Mediterranean cuisine, it has received numerous institutional awards, including the Diploma Turístic de la Generalitat de Catalunya (1990) (Catalonia Regional Government Tourist Diploma) and the Medalla al Mèrit Turístic (1992) (Medal for Tourist Excellence). It is also listed in the Michelin Guide since 1980. The restaurant is currently run by chef Jaume Saumell, a descendant of the founders and trained in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Barcelona and France.
