Solsona Turisme is devoted to promoting the attractive features of the Solsonès capital, a region surrounded by nature, history and deeply rooted traditions, one which can be felt in every corner of the old town. Solsona is a city that embodies its folklore in its own way, with its "giants" and folkloric bestiary or its cutlery and home-made food industries.
The city can be discovered on guided tours that cover the old town, the cathedral, the Pou de Gel (Frozen Pond), the museum and other places, all from the perspective of daily life, both civil and religious.
Of the festivals celebrated in Solsona, the Fiesta Mayor stands out. In 2008 it was named a Festivity of National Interest, and it is one of the oldest festivals still being celebrated in the country. Carnaval, named a Festivity of National Tourist Interest, is famous for the hanging of the monkey and the sermon satire.
