The small bay known as Racó des Moro, a couple of kilometres from the village of Cadaqués, includes the beaches of S’Alqueria Gran and S´Alqueria Petita. The beautiful natural surroundings of Cape Creus enhance the attractiveness of this nook.
To get to the cove you have to take the road that leads from Cadaques to the lighthouse of Cape Creus. The residential area of S´Alqueria is right after Portlligat.
The beach is about sixty metres long and consists of rocks and coarse sand. There is no infrastructure and nudity is usually practiced. The entry slope into the sea is fairly pronounced.
The rocks surrounding the beach are a good place for angling and the bay is ideal for diving thanks to its rocky seabed and clean clear waters.
From the beach is a good view of the island of Portlligat, located opposite the small town with the same name and widely known because Salvador Dalí´s workshop is located there. The nearby Es Jonquet cove, located on the left is ideal for diving. Following the road that borders the coast there are other beautiful bays including Guillola, Codera or Torta.
