The Port del Comte ski resort is located on the mountainous massif with the same name in Solsonès, a region of Lleida. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the Pyrenean foothills of Catalonia. It is surrounded by a large black pine forest. Port del Comte is very family friendly, with wide runs and slopes for all skill levels.
The 36 runs and 40 kilometres of skiable land are distributed between two different areas. First, there is the Hotel-Sucre area, where most of the more accessible runs are located, in addition to various services and the snow cannons. Then there is the L’Estivella area, which has the more difficult runs and a purely classic and isolated setting surrounded by nature.
In recent years, Port del Comte’s facilities have undergone extensive renovations. The updated areas have been greatly expanded and today, a long and satisfying ski season can be guaranteed for all.
One of the resort’s main draws is its close proximity to the main towns of Catalonia. This makes it especially convenient for one-day ski trips.
Port del Comte also has an Adventure Park, where various activities can be enjoyed in a natural setting. The more daring can slide down the snow on inflatable sledges or do acrobatic flips on bridges, zip lines, nets and logs. In turn, lovers of nature and tranquillity can discover the peaceful setting by going on a snowshoeing excursion.
During the summer, Port del Comte and its surroundings become a centre for nature leisure activities. These include walking and mountain biking, as well as climbing, canoeing, swimming, paragliding and fishing. Golf can also be played at the resort, since it offers a nine-hole golf course (par 34) at 1,760 metres.
