The Panxampla rural hotel is located in the hills of the Ports de Tortosa-Beseit in the Terres de l'Ebre area, and named after the famous bandit from Alfara de Carles, Panxampla. This former olive oil press has four fully equipped rooms with bath and shower, LCD television, minibar, air conditioning, heating and large beds with latex mattresses and pillows. The hotel also offers cots for babies.
In addition to its location, Panxampla’s strong point is its restaurant, which offers modernised Catalan cuisine, paying particular attention to seasonal products. Its extensive menu includes cargols a la llauna (Catalan-style snails), cod confit salad, pork feet stuffed with seafood and rabbit with alioli and honey.
It also offers services such as 4x4 routes, guided tours through the Ports, bicycle rental to enjoy the Via Verda, excursions to the Delta de l'Ebre, horse riding, cultural outings to Tortosa and winery tours in the Terra Alta area.
