An old village house in Senet, in Alta Ribagorça. Senet was originally a monastery that was destroyed by an avalanche. The place was completely abandoned, but a priest named Joan decided to stay and rebuild it. Hence the name of this house, which offers three single rooms, one double and one triple, plus a kitchen and a spacious dining room. The property belongs to a family dedicated to farming and stockbreeding. It also has a dining room where traditional, homemade dishes are served, made using produce from the estate.
One of the most important points of natural interest in the area is the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. However, the whole region offers a wide range of outdoor activities, such as rafting, paragliding, rock climbing and skiing. Also of note is the important Romanesque architectural legacy preserved in the area, including the churches of Boí Valley.
