Mas Can Batlle is a charmingly-renovated manor house located on the outskirts of Santa Pau, a walled village within the Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa. This natural area is the finest example of volcanic landscape on the Iberian Peninsula and features twenty-eight marked walking trails that traverse woodlands of oak and beech. Its location provides ample opportunities for active tourism, including visits to the surrounding villages and hiking, biking, riding and balloon excursions to the woodlands surrounding the enclosure.
Highlights of the house include the five tastefully decorated rustic and elegant suites, a former chapel, a kitchen with wood stove and a large display window featuring handicrafts from the area. The house also features a small library, a dining room with fireplace, a games room, a buffet bar and a pool area from where guests can contemplate the landscape.
