The municipality of Viladamat is a small town on the floodplain to the right of river, near the coast. The territory is hilly, comprising low-rising hills in the Ventalló range. This small mountain range separates the valleys of Fluvià and Ter. The highest point is the Puig Segalar, at 179 metres above the sea, from where guests get a stunning view of the Empordà plain and especially the gulf of Roses.
Five kilometres from the coast lies the rural house L'Empordà, which sleeps four people. The most attractive feature of this area is that guests can practice water sports such as diving, sports fishing and surfing. Also noteworthy is the good local cuisine.
