Hostal L'Antic Espai offers elegant and comfortable accommodation and occupies the first floor of a traditional building in Barcelona's Eixample neighbourhood. This boutique hotel features a sophisticated design that combines the charm of the early 20th century with the comforts of modernity. The property has ten exclusive rooms with private bathrooms, each decorated with a one-of-a-kind personality, but all retaining a consistency that is reflected in upholstery and curtains. The spacious and naturally lit rooms preserve the features of Catalan Modernism and their furniture and fittings date from Medieval Europe and have been collected from antique stores. One of the rooms is a suite with glass-enclosed gallery overlooking the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.
L'Antic Espai offers guests daily breakfasts, served in traditional, original dishes and glassware. A highlight among its communal spaces is the collector’s corner, which contains miniatures from the time, and an exhibition space dedicated to the painter Pérez Ocaña.
