Located five kilometres from the village of Olost in Lluçanès, El Teixell is a holiday cottage that was built in 1910 and restored in 1992 preserving its original architecture. As it is surrounded by forests and farmland, it is ideal for walking and mountain biking around the local area. The cottage can accommodate ten guests and has four bedrooms - two doubles and two triples - two bathrooms, two lounges, a kitchen-dining room, pantry and three porches, one of which features a barbecue. In front of the house, there is a 3,000 square metre lawn, ideal for relaxing. It also has a private pool. Activities in the area include forest walks to discover the different types of oak and pine trees in the area and aromatic plants, mushrooms and berries. Guests can also visit Olost cathedral, the Lluçà cloister and the episcopal museum of Vic.
