In the so-called Old Catalonia, in southeastern Osona, lies Mas de Vilalleons, a small country house in the municipality of Sant Julià de Vilatorta. This farmhouse is made up of two independent rural houses, and is surrounded by the forests, crop lands and hills that make up the Guilleries massif. El Mas de Vilalleons 2 can accommodate four to six people.
In the outdoor area, there is a large garden with barbecue, which overlooks the Montseny natural area. From there, visitors can explore the area, which has much to offer: it is only six kilometres to Folgueroles, where Jacint Verdaguer was born and where his old house – now Museu Verdaguer – is located. Also nearby is the Dolmen de Puigseslloses and the hermitage of Sant Jordi. The Sau swamp, with its fabled church steeple rising out of the water is also only 15 kilometres away, in the ancient village of Sant Romà de Sau. This natural area is ideal for walking or cycling.
