The refurbishment works undertaken in the summer of 2016 have marked the beginning of its oil tourism activities, and in particular visits to the mill which are due to take place during the olive oil season in the month of November. These visits will take in the old mill with its presses and paddles, as well a thorough explanation of the traditional oil making process.
The extra virgin olive oil produced by the Cooperativa del Cogul is packaged under the brand Oli Rupestre del Cogul, in reference to the rich cave art heritage to be found in the region. The oil can be purchased in containers of various sizes, from 25 cl to 5 litres, and the brand has recently launched a range of organic oils certified by the Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica (Catalan Council of Organic Agricultural Production, CCPAE).
