The cooperative’s facilities are not open to visitors in general. But once a year, usually during the last week of November, the cooperative organizes an open day exclusively for members and customers to come and pick up or purchase their olive oil supply for the year. The open day features a sampling session of the new oil and allows participants to see the modern mill installed in 1999 in operation. The new mill replaced an old stone mill, at which point the facilities also gained a packaging plant.
The open day also includes an excursion to the olive groves, where participants can see how olives are harvested as well as visit the so-called masos de volta, the traditional dry-stone cabins erected by farmers in the past. Apart from being offered in Catalan and Castilian Spanish, the open day also features sign language.
